D.O.B: 5/1/1994

Vixen and Ningo were littermate sisters, bred by Orlene Bond of Fairbanks, AK. Their father was a fabulous Iditarod leader bred by Earl and Natalie Norris named “Alaskans Blackjack of Anadyr”. Blackjack has sired a good number of dogs, and as far as I can tell, they are pretty much awesome. Orlene kept Ningo out of her litter and at the time that I bought her, she had been leased by Judith Currier to run the Iditarod. Ningo did not finish this “Last Great Race”, but the experience of that race and all her other training, made her a fabulous addition to my crew. Ningo was a fairly insecure dog when I got her, but she bloomed into a fabulous leader and I knew that I could never show her trail like she had seen before. The experience those feet of hers had seen was something I could only dream about. Ningo got Cancer like her sister did, but she got it a bit later in life and left me at 13 years of age. She was a very sweet, very beautiful, bitch and I miss her dearly.
